Last year we released the Call For Papers for the MPCE special section on forecasting in modern power systems. In total 9 papers were collected through a thorough peer review process. The papers were just published on SpringerLink. All of them are open access. The links to the papers are provided below:
- Guest editorial
- Modeling public holidays in load forecasting: a German case study
- Load forecasting using 24 solar terms
- Load forecasting for diurnal management of community battery systems
- Day-ahead industrial load forecasting for electric RTG cranes
- Real-time anomaly detection for very short-term load forecasting
- Embedding based quantile regression neural network for probabilistic load forecasting
- Photovoltaic yield prediction using an irradiance forecast model based on multiple neural networks
- General noise support vector regression with non-constant uncertainty intervals for solar radiation prediction
- Month ahead average daily electricity price profile forecasting based on a hybrid nonlinear regression and SVM model: an ERCOT case study
Many thanks to all of the authors, reviewers, guest editors, and journal editorial staff. Their diligent work has ensured the quality and timely publication. Hope you enjoy reading these papers!
