Energy forecasting plays a vital role in the planning and operation practices of the modern utilities. The IEEE Working Group on Energy Forecasting organized two panel sessions at the 2014 IEEE T&D Conference & Exposition, Chicago, IL, April 14-17, 2014. These two panel sessions bring together marketer operators and participants in North America to discuss today’s practices and challenges of integrating energy forecasts into energy market planning and operations. Both panel are scheduled on April 15th, 2014 in Room W185A. The early registration deadline is March 14th, 2014. The panel information is listed below:
