Weather Normalization of Electricity Demand and Energy

In the electric power industry, there are many interpretations of weather normalization. As a result, there are dozens of, if not hundreds of, weather normalization approaches in the industry. Many of them have demonstrated methodological deficiencies when supporting the planning functions of a utility. However, due to regulatory constraints and communication issues, many utilities have been conducting the same practices for decades. In this webinar, I will try to expose bad practices of weather normalization and to illustrate how to establish a defensible weather normalization practice.
The webinar will be hosted on Nov 18th, 1pm ET. It will be the last webinar this year. If you are interested, please register through the webinar page.
